Described by NPR as “so exuberant… a born entertainer,” 14-year-old cellist Cameron Renshaw has received top prizes at international competitions, including the First Great Award at the Vienna and the Manhattan International Music Competitions. He performed as a soloist with ten orchestras across the United States and internationally, making his orchestral debut with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra at age 8 and performed in some of the world’s greatest concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, Mozarteum Salzburg, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, and the Romanian Athenaeum. Renshaw has been featured on local and national media, including The Ellen Show, NPR’s From the Top, and NPR’s Tiny Desk. Renshaw takes private lessons at Grand Valley State University and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
