Kamila Dotta is Associate Principal Cello of the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic. A former New World Symphony fellow, she has premiered and recorded works with NWS, Sphinx Organization and Rice University’s Contemporary and New Music Ensembles. Passionate about chamber music, she has worked with the Takács, Dover, and Brentano Quartets, and her former ensemble toured Europe after winning a Starling Foundation Award. Recent highlights include performing with Yo-Yo Ma at the Smithsonian and receiving the Most Outstanding Cellist Award at the Sphinx Orchestral Partners Competition. She is a Doctoral Candidate at Indiana University.
