From Houston, TX, Jorge Romero is a junior attending Trinity University and is pursuing a
double major in Global Latinx Studies and Spanish with a minor in linguistics. Beyond his
studies, however, Jorge has made an effort to continue his lifelong involvement in the performing
arts and developing his passion for vocal performance.

He currently studies voice under Prof. Natalie Baker, sings with the Trinity Chamber Singers
under the direction of Dr. Gary Seighman, and is social chair for Trinity’s co-ed music fraternity,
Mu Sigma Psi. He also participates in the university’s Opera Workshop class as director of social
media and marketing, and as a cast member under the guidance of Dr. Jacquelyn Matava. These
experiences have not only further solidified his love for the arts, but have also sparked a fire in
him to spread this love not only throughout campus, but throughout the wider San Antonio
community.

He is excited to work closely with The Orchestra San Antonio and continue to
achieve their common goal of making music more accessible to the wider community.
In his free time, Jorge enjoys studying languages (with a specialization in Irish), writing poetry,
and translating music into Spanish.
